Cherry Side Chair

Post and rung side chair made in cherry and ash. This design is based on Børge Mogensen's J39 Chair which was my favourite chair that I sat on during a design inspiration trip to Copenhagen. The seat is woven with Danish cord and was my first attempt at a custom weave, intending to have a 'C' in the middle. This project was also my first time steam bending a component by myself. The cherry wood was sourced from Wilderness Wood, Sussex.
